This virtual event will equip attendees with the most current regulatory and operational updates about UAM. Topics facing industry and government leaders include vehicle development and production, vehicle management and operations, Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM), safety and security, as well as remote pilot technology and autonomy.

This session will explore Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and how to best plan and prepare for emergent technologies like drones. It will also explore the many barriers to AAM and the role MPOs can play in integrating this into the regional transportation system

The Air Transportation Advisory Committee was convened to assist the NCTCOG Executive Board and Regional Transportation Council on issues related to general aviation, heliports, and air cargo. The Committee oversees the Regional General Aviation and Heliport System Plan and advises NCTCOG staff on regionally significant issues affecting the general aviation and heliport system.
